FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Council Highlights – March 23, 2020 Doing Business in Greenview Grande Cache Bylaw No. 787 required mandatory business licenses in the hamlet while the Greenview Bylaw 00-324 required businesses to have a business license voluntarily. Council moved to repeal Bylaw No. 787 to provide clarification. Companies operating within Greenview will be required to have a valid development permit. Rapid response to support firefighter safety Helping to ensure the safety of Grande Cache’s volunteer firefighters, Greenview Council approved funding for the purchase of new equipment at their regular meeting, Feb. 10. Council approves internet access study Looking for an effective, cost-efficient way to provide high-speed internet service to Greenview businesses and residents, Greenview Council approved funding for the development of a fibre optics internet connectivity strategy.
