Sturgeon Heights is a settlement located on Highway 43, 71 kilometres southeast of Grande Prairie.

Amenities: Sturgeon Heights Community Hall is located second right-hand approach, off Highway 43, on the Young’s Point Road, 30 kilometres west of Valleyview.  Fun things to do in the hall or in the area are fishing at Surgeon Lake or Swan Lake, boating, playground, baseball diamonds, camping and horseshoe pitches
