DeBolt

Located on Hwy #43, 50 kms west of Valleyview, DeBolt provides an excellent opportunity for retirement living and commuting to either Valleyview or Grande Prairie. There are recreational opportunities, commercial businesses, and affordable housing options.

Grande Cache

Grande Cache is located in the northern part of the Rocky Mountains, in western Alberta, along Highway 40, also known as the Bighorn Highway or Scenic Route to Alaska. This is the shortest and most scenic route to Alaska from the United States.

Located on highway 43, approximately 39 kilometres south of Valleyview, and 47 kilometres northwest of Fox Creek, this hamlet boasts larger residential lots and is close to the Little Smoky River.

Sturgeon Heights is a settlement located on Highway 43, 71 kilometres southeast of Grande Prairie.

Grovedale

Located 20 kms south of Grande Prairie on Hwy 666, Grovedale also provides large country residential lots with municipal sewer. The community recreation center and hall, along with Penson School and a commercial area, provide an excellent setting for rural living.

Landry Heights

Located 10 kms south of Grande Prairie, and 4 km southeast of Grovedale off Highway 666, Landry Heights is a country residential subdivision with large self-serviced lots along the banks of the Wapiti River.

Ridgevalley

Ridgevalley is a small hamlet located approximately 57 km east of Grande Prairie, on Highway 43 and 3 km south on Ridgevalley Road. The main industry of the Ridgevalley area is Agriculture.

Effective Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10:00 am, the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 will update its road bans. All Greenview gravel roads, including the Forestry Trunk Road, will be at 75% axle weight in the absence of frost conditions – and at 100% axle weight during frost conditions until further notice.
