Wetland Replacement Program

The Municipality is partnering with Alberta Environment & Parks to restore wetlands using funds collected under the Wetland Policy.  This means wetlands that are filled from development in your watershed can be replaced in the same area, so residents in the region will benefit. Non-Residential Property Tax Deadline – September 30, 2021

Non-residential property taxes are due September 30, 2021. During March 23, 2021, Greenview Council Meeting, Council passed a motion to defer the due date for payment of non-residential taxes.  Greenview deferred the date from June 30, 2021, to September 3, 2021. On September 15, 2021, the Province of Alberta announced a state of public health emergency due to the rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. With the new health measures implemented for the Province, Greenview regretfully must cancel the Grovedale Ratepayer BBQ scheduled for September 27, 2021. We look forward to hosting this event in 2022.
