FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Grande Cache Recreation Centre Ammonia Refrigeration Equipment Tender Awarded The Grande Cache Recreation Centre is equipped with an ice arena and a four (4) sheet curling rink initially constructed in 1970. Since then, the artificial ice plant has seen several upgrades, including conversion from R22 refrigerant. During a routine seasonal shutdown inspection, a brine leak was discovered in a portion of the refrigeration equipment. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Forestry Trunk Road Phase 5 Construction Tender Awarded Administration posted Forestry Trunk Road Phase 5 tender on May 26th and closed on June 9th. This contract consists of clearing of right of way, excavation and placement, installation of culverts, erosion control measures, gravel surfacing and clearing of next phase. The Tax Rate Bylaw provides the authority to levy taxes to support those budgets. The Tax Rate By-Law is consistent with Council direction to maintain municipal tax rates at 2020 levels.
