Public Notice: Winter Access To Swan Lake! Vehicle access to Swan Lake is not permitted through the Swan Lake Recreation Area. Winter aeration is in place to prevent winter kill which creates instability within the ice. This instability increases the risk of falling through when accessing the lake. While Greenview strives to provide excellent recreational opportunities, public safety is our first concern and must be addressed. UPDATE: Public Notice: Temporary Natural Gas Service Interruption in Grande Cache
UPDATE December 31, 2022, 12:30 PM: Trans Canada Energy which supplies the natural gas to GC had an automated pressure control valve which malfunctioned and went into close mode. The plant in Grande Cache is unmanned and Trans Canada was able to get crews to location approximately 2.5 hours later.
