Greenview provides an opportunity for ratepayers and residents to provide their input for road construction projects, including new road construction, regrade/realignment, and surfacing through the submission of a Road Construction Request. The  Manager of Construction & Engineering receives these requests throughout the year and then compiles and evaluates them for presentation to Council for approval. Greenview administration also submits requests for upgrading projects based on maintenance requirements, road network planning and general evaluations.

Standards and specifications

Development Guidelines and Municipal Services Standards are used to provide the design standards framework for all municipal infrastructure and development projects. Developers are required to construct projects in accordance with the current standards unless otherwise approved by Council.

All road, bridge and drainage construction projects adhere to or surpass the standards established by Alberta Transportation. Any additional requirements are internal standards set by Greenview.
