Scentless Chamomile Picking Program

Non-Profit groups in the Hamlet of Grande Cache and surrounding Co-ops and Enterprises are eligible for an incentive ($/bag) for the hand pulling of scentless chamomile (Tripleurospermum inodorum) plants. Bags will be provided by the MD of Greenview Grande Cache Agricultural Services/Beautification Office - NO SUBSTITUTE BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED (they are clear so we can easily see the bag contains scentless chamomile). Grande Cache Wastewater Treatment Facility – Emergency Repairs June 16 & 17, 2021

The Grande Cache Wastewater Treatment Facility is completing repairs on the existing clarifier between June 13, 2021 and July 14, 2021. Greenview will be required to temporarily shut down the Wastewater Treatment Facility overnight on June 16 and 17 between 8:00 pm – 8:00 am to isolate the clarifier for repairs. UPDATE (May 18, 2021):  There will be no planned outage today (as previously planned) due to rain.  ATCO will resume work on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  There will be 2 planned outages on Tuesday, May 25 and Wednesday, May 26, 2021.   ATCO will be be working on the power line between the Landry Heights turn off to the old Grovedale store to make this portion of line more reliable.
