Greenview Cooling Centres Setup in DeBolt, Grovedale, and Grande Cache June 29 & 30

Due to the elevated temperatures forecast on June 29 and June 30, 2021, the MD of Greenview will establish Cooling Centres in DeBolt, Grovedale, and Grande Cache to help mitigate the health effects of the heatwave.  These are air-conditioned facilities for general public use, bottled water will also be available.  Current Alberta Health Services COVID-19 protocols must be adhered to at all times while in any Greenview Cooling Centre. Fire Restriction In Effect For Grande Prairie & Edson Forest Protection Areas and most areas in the MD of Greenview

A FIRE RESTRICTION is in place for the Grande Prairie Forest Area, portions of the Edson Forest Area and most areas within the MD of Greenview due to hot and dry conditions, which will increase the fire danger. July 21, 2021 - The wood ban that was previously in place for all Greenview Transfer Stations has been lifted.   Due to the present Fire Advisories in the Edson Forest Area and the Grande Prairie Forest Area, there is a wood ban at all Greenview Transfer Stations until further notice. New Water Well & Water Point Closure: Sunset House
