Description: Evacuation Order due to wildfire. Everyone in the area of Township 730 to 710, and Range Road 245 to Highway 49 must evacuate immediately.
Instruction: Everyone must immediately evacuate to Memorial Hall, 4808 50th Street, Valleyview Alberta. If you need assistance evacuating, call 780-524-3345. Bring all important documents, medications, food, water, pets, and important supplies to be away from your home for up to three days.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in the Grovesdale area, in the M.D. of Greenview, west of Highway 40, and south of the Wapiti River to the British Columbia Border.

Description: There are fires burning in the M.D., south of Grovesdale.

Instruction: Everyone in the impacted area and beyond must prepare for a possible evacuation. Everyone should pack clothes, food, water, important documents, medication to be gone for 3 days or more. Expanded Evacuation Order for Sturgeon Lake Area Residents. Everyone from Range Road 230 to Range Road 251 between Township Road 715 and Township Road 700, everyone around Sturgeon Lake including everyone in Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. – Evacuation Order due to a wildfire is in effect for everyone in these listed areas.

DESCRIPTION:
There is a wildfire on the southeast side of Sturgeon Lake, burning north and west.

ACTION TO TAKE:
Everyone in the impacted area should evacuate now. Evacuate to Valleyview. Highway 43 is unavailable through Sturgeon Lake. Take other routes.

Register at the Memorial Hall, at 4808 50 Street in Valleyview.

Bring pets, important documents and medication and enough food, water and supplies to be away from your home for 3 days. If you need help evacuating call 780-524-3345.

Description: There is a wildfire which has resulted in the need of an Evacuation Order. Immediately evacuate.

Instruction: Evacuate to Whitecourt on Highway 43. Reception Centre is located at the Allan and Jean Millar Centre 58 Sunset Blvd. Whitecourt, Alberta. Please register there. For those with no transportation or require busing go to the Fox Creek Community Hall Parking Lot. Info will be on Municipal Facebook Pages, and websites, or call 780-622-4412 for assistance.

Greenview has activated its Emergency Operations Centre and is monitoring the situation as it unfolds. Updates will be provided as available.

Directions for Evacuees

The Reception Centre has been set up at the Memorial Hall in Valleyview and will close for the evening at 10:00 pm and will reopen at 8:00 am tomorrow.

All evacuees must register at the Reception Centre at 4808-50 Street in Valleyview.
