The Indoor Beautification Grant acts as an immediate economic driver by providing local employment and business for local trades and suppliers. Enhancing building aesthetics contributes to the beautification and vibrancy of Greenview and its communities.

The beautification grant will pay businesses between 70% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of $5,000, if your business is located within Greenview and is solely used as a hospitality business.

The Beautification Grant will remain open until grant funding has been allocated.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria for either stream to be considered for a beautification grant:

  • Must be a small business.
  • Must be located within Greenview.
  • Must hold a valid Greenview Business License.
  • Must plan to use this program for the purpose relating to the interior improvements of a hospitality industry business:
    • Restoration of interior finishes and repainting, including window coverings;
    • Tables, chairs, and seating;
    • Repair or replacement of flooring;
    • Interior lighting related to public areas;
    • Counters and structures related to service delivery;
    • Washroom updates and washroom appliances;
    • Menus or hard copy print materials; and
    • Removal of barriers to access for people with disabilities and mobility

Note: The above list is not exhaustive, and other improvements may be considered eligible if they align with the program’s objectives and comply with the applicable development regulations.

Greenview Indoor Beautification applies to storefront businesses only and is targeted to the hospitality industry related to food services. Businesses that are eligible for Storefront Stream can apply for up to 70% of total project costs up to a maximum of $5,000.00.

To be eligible for the Storefront Stream, applicants must meet the following requirements:

All eligible applicants must complete and submit the following information to Greenview Economic Development Department:

  • A complete application form.
  • A complete description of the project.
  • Detailed estimates for the described project. A minimum of two (2) quotes from two (2) different competitors that clearly indicate the cost of the project and
  • Drawings to show the described project, if necessary. *Note: Some projects may not require drawings.
