Thank you to the volunteer First Responders at Greenview Fire-Rescue Services Fire Station #31-DeBolt for their dedication and hard work.  Earlier this month they responded to 3 fire calls in the span of a week.  Your time, dedication and contributions are appreciated.

SHOP FIRE

On December 29, 2020 at approximately 4:15 PM, Greenview Fire-Rescue Services Fire Station #31 – DeBolt responded to a fire in a large shop on Young’s Point Road.  Mutual aid partners Valleyview Fire Department and Bezanson Fire Department were also in attendance.  The building was a total loss; the cause is under investigation at this time.

MOBILE HOME FIRE

On January 3, 2021 at approximately 3:29 PM, Greenview Fire-Rescue Services Fire Station#31 – DeBolt responded to a fire in a single wide mobile home fire on the Forestry Trunk Road.  Mutual aid partners Bezanson Fire Department and Teepee Creek Fire Department were also in attendance. Despite an exemplary job by fire crews in limiting the spread of the fire the mobile home appears to be a total loss.

CHICKEN COOP FIRE

On January 4, 2021 at approximately 11:13 AM, Greenview Fire-Rescue Services Fire Station #31 – DeBolt responded to a confirmed structure on Range Road 10. The fire occurred in a chicken coop on the property.  The coop was fully involved, however was quickly extinguished by #31 firefighters. Fortunately, no chickens were harmed or injured in the blaze.
