GRIZZLY COMPLEX (Sunset House/Sweathouse Area – SWF 095) – Status Update
June 8, 2023 – 5:30 PM
SWF095 located approximately 18.5 kilometres southeast of the hamlet of Sweathouse is classified as burning out of control. The wildfire is estimated to be 70 hectares in size. Two groups of airtankers and three heavy helicopters worked on the wildfire last night. There are 25 firefighters with a helicopter and a heavy equipment group en route. Firefighting operations will be conducted by the Incident Management Team on the Grizzly Complex.
