Agricultural Services will start immediately completing turf grass weed control throughout the Hamlet of Grande Cache. Nuisance weeds, such as dandelions, alsike clover, sweet clover, etc., are the target species for all of Greenview’s turf grassed areas (parks, greenspaces, boulevards, etc.). Spraying will also occur on all Greenview sites where noxious or prohibited noxious weeds are present, and chemical usage will vary depending on the site scheduled for treatment. Spraying efforts will continue throughout the Spring and Summer season of 2024 and will continue to be an annual recurrence.
Greenview offers a 2-acre Spray request program designed to aid residents and businesses in their control efforts of noxious & prohibited noxious weeds. This program is available for the 2024 season and requires registration.
