Reeve and Council Extend Condolences
On behalf of Council, Reeve Dale Smith wishes to extend sincere condolences to the families and friends directly affected by the tragic helicopter incident north of Eaglesham, AB, this past Friday night, which resulted in the loss of Wade Balisky, his wife Aubrey and 2 of their children. The Baliskys have been long-time residents of the DeBolt farming community in the MD of Greenview and will be dearly missed.
“Words cannot adequately express the grief and loss our community feels at this terrible time,” said Reeve Dale Smith. “It will take time to get over the shock of losing a young family with so much promise, and our hearts go out to the entire Balisky family.”
