Update June 6, 2022:  Wood Restriction has been lifted at Grande Cache Landfill & Greenview Transfer Stations
The Fire Advisories have been lifted in the Edson, Grande Prairie, Whitecourt and Slave Lake Forest Management Areas and wood is now being accepted at all Greenview Transfer Stations as well as the Grande Cache Landfill. For more information, please contact Environmental Services at 780-552-3675.

June 3, 2022: Wood Ban – Grande Cache Landfill & Greenview Transfer Stations
Due to the present Fire Advisories in the Edson, Grande Prairie, Whitecourt and Slave Lake Forest Management Areas, wood restrictions are in place at the Grande Cache Landfill as well as all Greenview Transfer Stations until further notice. Residents are asked to bring reduced-size loads of wood (half a truck box) until further notice.
