The Municipal District of Greenview Recreation Department is proud to announce the opening of the Southview Viewing Platform. This new viewpoint is located at the Southview Provincial Recreation area, 130 km south of Grande Prairie on Highway 40.
Southview Provincial Recreation Area is maintained by Greenview. It has four day-use sites that include picnic tables and fire pits. There is garbage/recycle containments, pit toilets, and a small parking area. There has been a newly constructed firewood storage location where firewood is provided. Southview has a few footpath trails to continue down to a lookout area. A beautiful sight to be seen!
