Greenview Seniors’ Bus Transportation (55+) – Valleyview to Grande Prairie

The Greenview complimentary bi-weekly chartered senior 55+ bus transportation service route from Valleyview to Grande Prairie will resume services on July 8th, 2020. LUXLINER, a division of Northern Express Bus Line Ltd. has been selected to provide seniors (55 years of age and over) with bi-monthly transportation to Grande Prairie. Alberta Transportation to close HWY 736 between TWP RD 724 and 725.

Alberta Transportation is closing HWY 736 north of DeBolt between TWP RD 724 and TWP RD 725.  Detour route will be west on 724A, north on RGE RD 13, then back east on TWP RD 730. Please note that this detour may change once water recedes and road repairs can be made on a shorter route to the east. Once again we remind drivers to please use caution and watch for workers on the roadways.

Greenview recognizes barriers encountered by non-profit organizations due to the significant costs of technology. In keeping with Council’s priority to give back to Greenview communities, Council approved the donation of used computers and tablets to interested non-profit organizations for a period of two months.
