Greenview 2020 Stakeholder Clay Shoot Another Great Success
The Municipal District of Greenview Council recently held its 2020 Greenview Stakeholder Clay Shoot on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at the Shot Shell Sporting Clay Range in Valleyview, AB, with 56 sports shooters participating. Greenview was pleased to welcome sports shooters from the neighbouring municipalities of the MD of Opportunity, County of Grande Prairie, MD of Smoky River, Town of Valleyview, and the Town of Fox Creek.
This year’s event aimed for a smaller crowd, with a distinct focus on fun and fellowship, and observed enhanced safety and recommended cleaning protocols. Greenview Council wishes to thank Trapper Gord’s, Cache Ventures, Ryan McNeil of McNeil Construction Grande Cache, Aquatera, Tiger Calcium, Primerica Financial Services, and the United Church for their monetary and prize donations and annual support. The Clay Shoot raised $3000 this year, and Greenview Council will be choosing a local charity to donate the funds raised.
“We are very pleased with our turnout this year for our 2020 Stakeholder Clay Shoot Charity event,” said Reeve Dale Smith. “An event like this would not be possible without the generous support and donations from companies like Tiger Calcium, HiTech Business Systems, Grande Cache Fire Department, Aquatera, Seven Generations Energy, Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP, Pembina, Neil & Associates, WSP Canada, Associated Engineering, and many more. We would also like to thank Shot Shell Sporting Clay Range once again for hosting this valuable event, and we look forward to holding the Greenview Clay Shoot again in 2021.”
