National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit People is recognized on May 5 every year.
Also known as Red Dress Day, this visual representation of the pain and loss felt by the families of victims and their survivors was inspired by Metis artist Jamie Black.
As part of Greenview’s commitment to our Indigenous communities, we would like to share some resources to help better understand the meaning of this call to action and how we can all help.
