April 28, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy. In recognition of this day, all Greenview flags will be lowered to half-mast until sundown.
This day is not only a day to honour and remember those lost or injured, but also a day to renew our commitment to improve health and safety in the workplace and prevent further injuries, illnesses, and deaths.
Today, let’s pause for a moment of silence to remember and ensure we all take responsibility for keeping each other safe.
