UPDATE:  (July 21, 2021)

Victor Lake Road Detour:   The Victor Lake Road will be re-open by end of day on July 21, 2021.   Construction activity will continue along the side of the road next week to clean up the ditches and replace signs so please continue to drive safely and use caution for the protection and safety to residents and our workers.

Day-Use Area northeast of Pumphouse:    The day-use area will remain open except for a section that will be closed from Saturday, July 24th until Monday, July 26th due to construction.  See map below:

 

UPDATE: (July 14, 2021) The Victor Lake Road detour is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, July 21, 2021.  There is also a temporary access road constructed for the detour route to ensure traffic safety (at the intersection of the road and up the power-line right-or-way up the hillside) as per the map below.

 

UPDATE:  (July 6, 2021)  The Victor Lake Road detour is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, July 14, 2021.   There is also a temporary access road constructed for the detour route to ensure traffic safety (at the intersection of the road and up the power-line right-of-way up the hillside) as per the map below.

 

UPDATE:  (June 25, 2021)  The first access to the day use area on Victor Lake Road is now open.  Barricades will be set up to detour traffic through the day-use area as Victor Lake road will be closed temporarily. The map below details the detour.

 

 

 

UPDATE: (June 21, 2021) Access 1, to the day-use area at Victor Lake will reopen to the public on Friday, June 25, 2021.

Effective June 25, 2021, there will be a new detour on Victor Lake Road, through the day-use area which will be in place until July 1, 2021.

 

UPDATE:  (June 17, 2021) Access 1 to the day-use area at Victor Lake will continue to be closed while crews continue working on the Grande Cache Raw Waterline.

 

Work will commence June 7, 2021 until October 1, 2021 to replace the Grande Cache Raw Waterline from the Grande Cache Water Treatment Facility to Victor Lake.

Safety is our main priority. Please use caution during construction for the protection and safety to residents and our workers.

Tentatively, Victor Lake road will be closed and a detour will be setup though the day use areas south of the road beginning June 19 – July 10.

NOTICE:  Please be advised that one of the accesses to the day use area at Victor Lake is closed due to the pipeline fusing activities and it is expected to reopen on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Traffic can access the day use area through the second access about 250m West as per the below map.
