Congratulations to the Tollefson family from the MD of Greenview on receiving the 2023 BMO Financial Group Farm Family Award. Tollefson Farms is a mixed farming operation on 2800 acres with 160 cow/calf pairs. The farm was first established in 1951 when Elna Tollefson homesteaded near Sweathouse with her sons Wally, Ken, Cliff, & Leroy. Wally & Leroy would continue to farm with Wally’s son Ed. Today, the farm is owned & operated by Ed & his wife Lorna, their daughter Shayna, daughter Tamara & son in law Dylan, & son Dylan & daughter in law Cheyanne.
