Why a permit❓ Permits help ensure burning is done safely and that authorities know where fires are planned, letting firefighters focus on wildfires.
Before you burn:
• Get your fire permit! They are free and easy to apply for online or through your local forestry office.
• Check current fire bans or restrictions – your permit could be restricted based on the fire danger level.
• Follow safe burning practices – fires must be fully extinguished and never left unattended.
📞 Report wildfires immediately by calling 310-FIRE (3473). Wildfire risk increases quickly in spring as snow melts and dry vegetation becomes exposed. Let’s all do our part to keep our communities safe this wildfire season.
