All approaches within Greenview require an application and/or permit approval prior to being constructed or utilized. Approach application and construction fees can be found in Greenview’s current Schedule of Fees Bylaw.
All approach applications must be approved prior to construction commencement. Construction must adhere to Municipal Standards defined in the Development Guidelines & Municipal Servicing Standards. Residential / Farmland approaches, unless temporary in nature, are constructed by Greenview.
Utilization of Greenview roads for the purpose of hauling equipment, materials, or loads requires an active Road Use Agreement and/or Log Haul Agreement. Please see below how to apply.
Temporary Approaches
In accordance with Policy 4010, Greenview deems an approach temporary in nature when it is in place for under one year. Temporary approaches are to be constructed by the applicant.
Industrial – Please submit a permit application to RoaData via the RoaData Website, calling the RoaData permit centre: 888-830-7623 or RoaData administration: 403-314-9500, or emailing: permits@roadata.com.
Residential – Please contact the Planning & Development department at planning@mdgreenview.ab.ca and submit a completed Approach Application Form and applicable fees.
