Greenview Fire-Rescue is a regional fire service made up of dedicated volunteer firefighters serving communities across Greenview. Our members respond to fires, medical emergencies, specialized rescues, and wildfires – protecting our residents when it matters most.

We’re looking for people who are ready to step up, train hard, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

What We Do

  • Structure fires (residential, commercial, industrial)
  • Wildland and interface fires
  • Motor vehicle collisions and extrication
  • Medical first response
  • Public education and FireSmart initiatives
  • Emergency management support during major incidents

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for superheroes – we’re looking for committed, reliable people who want to learn.

Applicants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be physically capable of demanding work
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Be willing to commit to training and emergency response
  • Reside within a reasonable distance of the station they serve

No previous experience is required – we provide the necessary training.

Training & Expectations

  • Weekly or bi-weekly station training
  • Firefighter Level 1 & 2 certification opportunities
  • Live fire training and regional exercises
  • Incident Command System (ICS) training
  • Ongoing skills development

We operate to professional standards, even as a volunteer service.

Our Stations

  • Station 31 – DeBolt
  • Station 32 – Grovedale
  • Station 33 – Grande Cache

Members respond from their local station and support each other through a regional response model.
