Greenview Fire-Rescue is a regional fire service made up of dedicated volunteer firefighters serving communities across Greenview. Our members respond to fires, medical emergencies, specialized rescues, and wildfires – protecting our residents when it matters most.
We’re looking for people who are ready to step up, train hard, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
What We Do
- Structure fires (residential, commercial, industrial)
- Wildland and interface fires
- Motor vehicle collisions and extrication
- Medical first response
- Public education and FireSmart initiatives
- Emergency management support during major incidents

What We’re Looking For
We’re not looking for superheroes – we’re looking for committed, reliable people who want to learn.
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be physically capable of demanding work
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be willing to commit to training and emergency response
- Reside within a reasonable distance of the station they serve
No previous experience is required – we provide the necessary training.
Training & Expectations
- Weekly or bi-weekly station training
- Firefighter Level 1 & 2 certification opportunities
- Live fire training and regional exercises
- Incident Command System (ICS) training
- Ongoing skills development
We operate to professional standards, even as a volunteer service.
Our Stations
- Station 31 – DeBolt
- Station 32 – Grovedale
- Station 33 – Grande Cache
Members respond from their local station and support each other through a regional response model.
