Grande Cache Community Bus Service
The 16-passenger Community Bus offers reliable, affordable, and convenient transportation services to Grande Prairie (Tuesdays), Hinton (Thursdays), as well as local shopping trips for residents of Grande Cache, Co-operatives, and Enterprises (on Wednesdays).
Community Bus Holiday Schedule Update 🎄
Please note the following changes to our Community Bus service during the holidays:
❌ No regular bus service: December 24 & 25, 2025 & January 1, 2026
🚌 Additional service to Hinton: December 22 & December 29, 2025
⚠️ No in-town service: December 23 – 26, 2025
Please make sure to reserve your spot, before planning your trip.
Key Features:
- 16 seats available
- Space for 2 wheelchairs (first come, first served)
- Motorized mobility scooters not permitted due to size limitations.
- Service animals only (proof required)
- No transport of goods (e.g. TVs, mattresses, couches, etc.)
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Infants or children requiring car seats/booster seats are expected to provide them when they arrive.
- No alcohol, illegal substances, or dangerous goods permitted on board.
Regular Service Schedule:
Need to head out for an adventure? Have a medical appointment in Grande Prairie or Hinton? Or would you like a ride to the Grande Prairie airport? The service offers the following options:
- On Tuesdays, enjoy a one-way or round trip to Grande Prairie.
- On Thursdays, take advantage of easy travel to Hinton.
- Every Wednesday, there’s free pick-up and drop-off for Co-op & Enterprise residents and free transportation for Grande Cache residents to shop locally. NOTE: Door-to-door service available in Grande Cache for individuals with mobility issues.
Cost:
- $35 one-way to Grande Prairie or to Hinton (no tax)
- $50 return trip to Grande Prairie or to Hinton (no tax) (can be used same day or split over different days)
- Every Wednesday, there’s free pick-up and drop-off for Co-operative & Enterprise residents and free transportation for Grande Cache residents to shop locally.
Cancellation Policy:
- Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Trips cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will not be considered for a refund.
