CANADIAN SWIM PATROL (ROOKIE, RANGER & STAR)

Canadian Swim Patrol provides enriched training for those who are ready to go beyond learn-to-swim. Swim Patrol has three levels: Rookie, Ranger, and Star. It is recommended that swimmers have passed swimmer 6 but is not a requirement. All swimmers must be capable of passing a standard swim test (swim 25 meters on front without stopping; exit; jump into water and tread water for 30 seconds).
WATER WORKS
AGE: 16 +
WHEN: Tuesdays & Thursdays, October 29 to November 26
TIME: 10:00 – 11:00 am
COST: $72.00 + GST DROP-IN: $10.00/class
LOCATION: Leisure Pool
Water Fitness uses natural resistance and buoyancy of the water against your body to provide a wide variety of conditioning activity. No swimming is required in water aerobics, and floatation devices are used frequently. Water Works is a shallow pool class and geared toward client comfort levels.
SPLASH & PLAY
AGE: 0 – 6 years
WHEN: Friday, November 6 and 20
TIME: 10:00 – 11:00 am
COST: $2.00/child/day
LOCATION: Leisure Pool
Come join us for a fun-filled hour of swimming, games, and play in the pool! Designed for children ages 0–6 and their parents/caregivers, this instructor-led program is a great way to get comfortable in the water, enjoy some playful activities, and spend time together as a family.
NOVEMBER SPIN – A – THON
AGE: 14 +
WHEN: Saturday, November 28
TIME: 9:30 am – Rider check in
10:00 am – Spinning starts
4:00 pm – Closing ceremony & prizes
