Greenview staff will be conducting vegetation management along variousĀ road rights-of-way within the Town of Valleyview to help control invasive plant species like Scentless Chamomile, which spreads quickly and can displace desirable vegetation, beginning the week of June 8, 2026
This project is a great example of municipalities working together toward a common goal. By coordinating efforts across jurisdictional boundaries, Greenview and the Town of Valleyview can more effectively reduce the spread of invasives likeĀ Scentless Chamomile, protect local landscapes, and support healthy plant communities throughout the region.
Invasive species don’t recognize property lines. Working together helps maximize the impact of control efforts and benefits residents, landowners, and the environment alike.
