Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework — Opt-Out Notice
The Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 and Birch Hills County have jointly elected to opt out of the Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) requirement. Intermunicipal services between the two municipalities are adequately provided through Mutual Aid Agreements.
This decision was made pursuant to Section 708.28 of the Municipal Government Act, which permits neighbouring municipalities to mutually agree not to create a framework where intermunicipal services are already adequately addressed. Notice of this decision has been
provided to the Minister of Municipal Affairs.

That the Municipal District of Greenview and Birch Hills County mutually agree to opt out of the Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework, as intermunicipal services between the two municipalities are adequately provided through other means, in the form of a Mutual Aid Agreement, pursuant to Part 17.2 of the Municipal Government Act as amended by the Municipal Affairs Statutes Amendment Act, 2025.
