Join us for an Open House and FREE BBQ featuring hamburgers and hot dogs, Fire Hall tours, and valuable FireSmartTM and Emergency Preparedness resources. Meet Sparky the Fire Dog, enter a draw for a 24-hour emergency kit, and connect with representatives from Alberta Forestry & Parks.

This year’s Emergency Preparedness Week theme is: “Be Prepared. Know Your Risks!”

Note: Emergency Preparedness Week, taking place May 4 to 10, is a national awareness campaign that encourages Canadians to take simple steps to become better prepared for emergencies. This year’s theme, “In it together,” emphasizes the importance of connection, cooperation, and collective readiness.

 

Effective May 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm, a Fire Restriction has been issued for the areas of the MD of Greenview outside of the Forest Protection Area.
