The Environmental Services crew worked overnight and have successfully repaired the water line. Water service has now been restored to the affected area.
Residents are advised to:
– Run hot and cold water taps for approximately 10 minutes
– Flush toilets a few times
– Once you have flushed your taps, normal water use can resume.

Important Notice – Update at 11:45 pm
Crews are continuing to work diligently on the water line repair; however, an estimated time for service restoration is not yet available.
Once water service has been restored, flushing of the water mains will take place and residents are then advised to:
- Run cold and hot water taps for approximately 10 minutes
- Flush toilets a few times
Water sampling will be conducted after flushing and tomorrow, in accordance with standard operating procedures following water main repairs. Once you have flushed your taps, normal water use can resume. It is normal for chlorine levels to be temporarily higher after flushing; these levels will dissipate over time.

Notice Update at 8:40 pm – Water Service Interruption
To safely and efficiently complete the required water leak repairs, the water supply is temporarily shut off for properties along Morris Crescent and 11201–11219 Leonard Street until the work is complete. Our crews are working diligently to restore service as quickly as possible, and updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

An Environmental Services crew is currently on site near Morris Cres and Leonard Street investigating a water leak in Grande Cache. As a result, water service may be temporarily turned off to complete repairs to the following addressess:
• Morris Crescent
• 11201–11219 Leonard Street
