The Municipal District of Greenview is excited to announce that we are now the proud owners of the Greenview-Valleyview & Area Tourist Information Centre (formerly known as the Valleyview Information Centre), located just 1 kilometre south of the Town of Valleyview on Highway 43. Keep your eyes open for our brand-new signage arriving in the coming months!
What to Expect This Summer:
- Soft Opening: The facility will have a soft opening in the first week of May 2025.
- Seasonal Operations: From May 5 to September 30, 2025, our friendly team of new and returning summer staff will be on hand to welcome you daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week.
- Visitor Info & Merchandise: Pick up free updated visitor guides and pamphlets, and browse a selection of merchandise available for purchase, just like in previous years.
- Public Washrooms: Fully wheelchair accessible and open 24/7 for your convenience.
Coming Soon:
- Grand Opening Event: Stay tuned for details on our official Grand Opening, planned for late May or early June 2025.
- Construction Notice: Please be aware of ongoing construction in April 2025, including:
- Full roof shingle replacement
- Concrete work at the entrance
- Upgrades to picnic tables, benches, and other facility/grounds improvements throughout early summer
