Greenview EOC Update – GWF – 111

Gwf 111 update 9.14.2025

Update: September 14, 2025 – 6:45 pm

Wildfire GWF111 is classified as Being Held, is not expected to grow beyond the existing perimeter, and sufficient resources are in place to manage the fire. It is located 12 km northwest of Nose Creek Settlement near Lingrell Creek.

The evacuation alert has been CANCELLED for Nose Creek Subdivision PT-NE-34, PT-NW-35 of 66-11-W6.


Update: September 12, 2025 – 12:45 pm

Wildfire GWF111 is classified as out of control at 45 hectares (ha). It is located 12 km northwest of Nose Creek Settlement near Lingrell Creek. Firefighters supported by helicopters and heavy equipment continue working to contain this wildfire by extinguishing hot spots.

An evacuation alert is still active for Nose Creek Subdivision PT-NE-34, PT-NW-35 of 66-11-W6.

👉 No evacuation is required at this time. Residents are asked to stay alert and wait for further instructions.

If you are in the affected area, please prepare to evacuate if the situation worsens. Gather pets, important documents, and medications. Pack food, water, and supplies for at least 3 days.

Two Lakes Road & Access Information

Two Lakes Road: Industry and backcountry users west of km 2-80 should remain alert and prepared for possible road closures.

Lingrell Pit Road: Private traffic control is in place at the intersection with Two Lakes Road. Access is limited to essential industry traffic only.

Two Lakes Road remains open, but travellers are advised to remain cautious and prepared for sudden changes
