During Economic Development Week (May 4–8, 2026), Greenview’s Economic Development Department is launching Greenview Business Connect—a new program focused on building stronger connections with local businesses across the region.
This program is designed to create meaningful, face-to-face engagement through short, 30-minute conversations with local business owners and operators. Meetings can take place either at the business location or at one of Greenview’s Public Service Buildings, making participation flexible and convenient.
Visiting Communities Across Greenview
Over four days, our Economic Development Officers will be visiting businesses in the following communities:
- Valleyview – Monday, May 4, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- DeBolt – Tuesday, May 5, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Grovedale – Wednesday, May 6, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Grande Cache – Thursday, May 7, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
What to Expect
Each visit will include a brief conversation centred around three key areas:
- Local business climate
- Workforce status
- 12-month business outlook and confidence
Businesses will also have the option to share additional feedback, concerns, or ideas through an open-ended discussion.
Why It Matters
Greenview Business Connect is an important step toward:
- Strengthening relationships with local businesses
- Ensuring awareness of programs, services, and supports available through Greenview
By listening directly to the business community, Greenview can better understand current challenges and opportunities—and respond with targeted support.
