A-La-Peche Lake

Drive south of Grande Cache on Highway 40 for 32 km (20 miles.) Access is to the right, almost opposite the left turn-off to Pierre Grey’s Lakes Provincial area. After travelling 24 km (15 miles) on variable terrain that involves one river crossing, you will come to the Forestry cabin. The lake is just 1 km (0.6 miles) beyond and a trail circles it partway (8 km).
There are numerous cut-lines to explore here too, but please stay close to the lake as some routes will bring you to the Willmore Wilderness Park boundary.
