Current Notice of Decisions

Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) is the development authority for subdivision and development permit applications considered to be discretionary in nature. Appeals to a decision may be directed to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) within 14 days of the decision.

An affected party may APPEAL a decision to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, 2000, M-26, s. 685 and the provisions of the Greenview Land Use Bylaw 18-800 and/or Grande Cache Land Use Bylaw 799 or Alberta’s Land and Property Rights Tribunal dependent on jurisdiction of the Appeal authority. An appeal under the jurisdiction of The Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 shall be submitted on the appropriate form and mailed or delivered to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Clerk at the address above prior to the close of business on the effective date indicated above. To be considered complete, a notice of appeal shall be signed and contain a written statement of the grounds of appeal and applicable $500 fee. Effective April 15, 2025, at 3:00 pm, a Fire Advisory has been issued for the areas of the MD of Greenview outside of the Forest Protection Area.
