Whether participating in one of our FCSS programs or visiting one of our offices in search of information and assistance the social and emotional well-being of our clients is priority. Clients are assisted using fairness and a non-judgemental respectful approach. Clients are empowered to be independent and autonomous.

Career and Employment Resource Services: (available at the Valleyview office location) Come into the Valleyview office location to access the local job board (employment possibilities), career and employment computers for job searching and resume building, internet access for printing government forms and completion of on-line employment insurance applications. Services are provided in partnership with Green View FCSS, and the Province of Alberta.
Commissioner of Oaths: services provided free of charge.
Community Connections: (Grande Cache and area). Hosted annually, sport clubs, agencies, organizations, and local businesses come together in one place to raise awareness of their services or programs. It is an evening of information, registrations, and connection.
Emergency Social Services: In times of disaster, Green View FCSS provides services such as food, housing, childcare, pet care.
HEART: A domestic violence initiative formed in 2014. HEART stands for Health, Education & Action in Relationships Team. Stakeholders include Green View FCSS, RCMP, and Valleyview Victims Assistance.
Information, Referral, and Forms Assistance: If you are not sure where to access the help you need the Valleyview and Grande Cache offices provide information on their respective regional and localized programs and services. We provide referrals that match your need and will assist with completion of forms or applications such as Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH), Income Support, and Seniors Benefits.
Interagency meetings: Green View FCSS hosts Interagency meetings in Valleyview (first Tuesday of every month) and in Grande Cache (last Tuesday of every month). Various organizations share programs and services. Attendees include organizations such as Alberta Health Services, Education, mental health, Victims Assistance, Adult Learning, RCMP, and Child Services.
Meadows to Mountains Homelessness Prevention Project: This project provides crucial supports for individuals and families within the Municipality of Greenview to prevent homelessness. Clients are provided on-going support to navigate systems, access life skills development, and are shown how they are pivotal to their success in stabilizing their living situation. Working with a wide range of organizations, agencies, and community contacts clients will discover they are not alone, support does exist, and success is possible. This project is a partnership between Green View FCSS, the Alberta Rural Development Network and Reaching Home.
Volunteer Appreciation: we offer volunteer opportunities for residents and annually host events that recognize the valuable contribution volunteers make throughout the municipality.
Welcome Baskets: are provided to all newcomers in the municipality. Newcomers will receive information about FCSS programs as well as other community services and businesses in the area.
