Clients are assisted using fairness and a non-judgemental respectful approach. Clients are empowered to be independent and autonomous.

Career and Employment Resource Services: Job seekers can come into the Green View FCSS office locations to view the job board, access career and employment computers for job searching, resume building and assistance completing government forms.
Commissioner of Oaths: services are provided free of charge.
Community Volunteer Income Tax Program: Seniors and low-income individuals are assisted with the completion of their Income Tax returns.
Counseling Services: Green View FCSS offers short term one-on-one mental health appointments with a registered psychologist or professional therapist.
Death Café: A Death Café is a global movement that provides a welcoming and confidential space for people to talk about death. It is not a grief support group or a counseling session, but a discussion group with no agenda or specific themes. The Purpose is to make people more comfortable discussing this often taboo subject, which can help them live their finite lives more fully.
Emergency Social Services: In times of disaster, Green View FCSS provides services such as food, housing, childcare, pet care.
Green View FCSS Grants: The FCSS Board is committed to supporting preventive social programs that positively impact the ratepayers of the MD of Greenview and the Town of Valleyview. For more information and application forms please visit our website; mdgreenview.ab.ca
Information, Referral, and Forms Assistance: We provide referrals that match your needs and will assist with completion of forms or applications such as Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH), Income Support, and Seniors Benefits.
Inter-agency Meetings: Green View FCSS host Inter-agency meetings in Valleyview (the first Tuesday of every month) and in Grande Cache (the last Tuesday of every month). Attendees include organizations such as Alberta Health Services, Education, Mental Health, Victims Assistance, Adult Learning, RCMP, and Child Services.
Volunteer Appreciation: We offer volunteer opportunities for residents and annually host events that recognize the valuable contribution volunteers make throughout the Municipality.
