Greenview is committed to supporting sustainable organizations and initiatives that positively impact the lives of Greenview residents and those outside our communities.

Community Grants, Sponsorships & Donations

Community Impact Grants

Not-for-profit organizations and Registered Societies looking to strengthen/grow services within Greenview and the greater Region may apply for an operating and/or capital grant from Greenview once per year. Council assesses each application with a focus on the impact and social well-being based on the impact of the Greenview community.

Community Impact Grant applications are accepted once annually by April 15.

Economic Development Grants

Outdoor Beautification Grant:

The MD of Greenview Outdoor Beautification Grant provides funding to help eligible businesses, property owners, and organizations improve the exterior appearance of buildings and properties within Greenview. From storefront upgrades to landscaping and signage improvements, this grant is an opportunity to enhance curb appeal and strengthen the visual character of our communities.

Indoor Beautification Grant:

The MD of Greenview Indoor Beautification Grant supports eligible businesses and organizations with funding to improve the interior of commercial and community spaces within Greenview. This grant is designed to help enhance the quality and appearance of indoor environments, contributing to vibrant, welcoming spaces across the municipality.

Grande Cache Recreation Grant

Not-for-profit organizations and Registered Societies looking to strengthen and grow services within the Grande Cache area may apply for an operating and/or capital grant through the Grande Cache Recreation Board.

The Grande Cache Recreation Grant provides funding to non-profit organizations within the Grande Cache Area that provide direct and indirect benefits to Greenview residents and surrounding communities.

Grant Applications are open throughout the year, and the Board prioritizes new applicants ahead of multiple grant requests by the same group.

Ongoing funding to Non-profit Organizations which administer community services in Greenview by operating and maintaining Greenview owned facilities.

Green View FCSS Grants Program

*The deadline for accepting 2026 grant applications is now closed.  

2027 grant applications will be received by the Green View FCSS Board between January 1 and August 31, 2026.

In-Kind Donation Applications

Not-for-profit organizations and registered societies may request a non-monetary donation (i.e. gift basket, silent auction item) for an event.

Greenview In-Kind Donation requests must be submitted a minimum of 15 working days prior to the event.

Sponsorship Applications

Not-for-profit organizations and registered societies may request funding for an event once per calendar year, directly tied to the operations of the event.

Greenview Sponsorship requests must be submitted 30 working days prior to the event.

Degree and Trade-Diploma Program Scholarships

Greenview Council supports applicants pursuing post-secondary education in trades and apprenticeship fields, college, and university.

Degree Program Scholarship

Students enrolled in an integrated course of study leading to an academic degree are eligible for $2,500 in funding, with $25,000 in dedicated funding allocated annually.

Trade-Diploma Program Scholarships

Students enrolled in a program of study that leads to the granting of a diploma or certificate or involves a trade or apprenticeship program are eligible for $1,500 in funding, with $15,000 in dedicated funding allocated annually.

The application deadline is June 30th annually.

The Municipal District of Greenview will financially assist non-profit organizations and school groups or individuals when they qualify to compete at provincial, national and/or international levels to recognize their significant achievement.
