Louis Delorme Memorial Committee Annual Fundraiser Support Approved

The Louis Delorme Memorial Committee has partnered with Spruce and Bean to host the 3rd Annual Drive-In Movie event on October 11, 2025, at the Grande Cache Baseball Diamond. The event will raise funds to support youth and their desire to participate in organized sports, music, art, and cultural activities. Council approved a sponsorship of $2,500.00, with funds coming from the 2025 Community Services Sponsorships and Donations budget.    


DeBolt Seniors Get Support Through Approved Sponsorship for Grande Spirit Foundation

Grande Spirit Foundation’s annual Harvest Dine & Dance has been a large fundraiser for the organization, helping to raise funds for operating expenses, maintenance, and items needed for facilities and residents. This year, the event will focus on raising funds for DeBolt Seniors to ensure they receive the care and resources essential to their well-being, and Council approved a sponsorship of $850.00 in support of this fundraiser.


Greenview Supports Conservation with 5-Year Grant for Dollar Lakes Aeration

Council approved a five-year Regional Sustaining Grant agreement with the Alberta Conservation Association, providing $5,000 annually starting in 2025 to support the ongoing operation and aeration of Dollar Lakes near Valleyview. This partnership helps maintain local recreational angling opportunities while reinforcing Greenview’s commitment to conservation.


Greenview Approves Capital Grant for Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park

Council approved a $196,750.00 Community Impact Capital Grant to Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park for snowmaking, hill equipment, and hill improvement capital project purchases in 2025-2026. The funds will come from the 2025 Community Impact Grants budget.


Greenview Council Approves Peace Country Beef & Forage Association Grant

Council approved $49,500 in grant funding to the Peace Country Beef & Forage Association, a non-profit led by local producers that provides research, extension activities, and services such as feed and soil testing, pasture assessments, and producer education to support the beef industry and environmental resiliency in the region.
