Greenview Surplus Assets to be Sold at Auction
Greenview Council approved the Administration’s listing and sale of items noted on the 2024 Surplus Disposal list at the next Alberta North Auction. All surplus assets will be sold at auction pricing.
Council also moved to authorize Administration to list an A243 – 2014 Dodge 1500 SLT Command Fire unit and extraction equipment for sale through the Greenview website, as these assets will better serve other municipalities than going to auction.
Road Access Approaches Policy Approved
Greenview’s Policy 4010 Road Access Approaches was last approved on July 13, 2021, and scheduled for review in July 2024; however, this policy was brought back early to update the definitions and clarify the language for clearer interpretation. Council approved Policy 4010 Road Access Approaches, as presented.
Council Supports Peace Area Riding for the Disabled Society Fundraiser with Sponsorship
Peace Area Riding for the Disabled Society (PARDS) is hosting its 40th Anniversary Dine & Dance on November 2, 2024, at the Five Mile Community Hall in the County of Grande Prairie. Council approved a $1000.00 sponsorship and $500.00 gift in kind for the Peace Area Riding for the Disabled Society’s sponsorship request, with funds coming from the Community Sponsorships and Grants.
