Crews will be starting planned road work on the Goodwin Road (Range Road 21), from Highway 43 north to Township Road 730, covering approximately 9 km, beginning Monday, June 1, 2026 (weather dependent).
The project will use an asphalt alternative called SB90. This liquid blend of asphalt and oil is applied to gravel roads to bind and stabilize the surface. It reduces dust, creates a firm driving surface, and allows for future regrading with minimal material loss. Council has approved this method as an option to achieve an asphalt-like finish.
Construction is scheduled for June 1 – 10, 2026, subject to weather conditions.
