Please be advised of the following Greenview Administration Offices and Public Service Buildings, Landfills and Transfer Station closures on Monday, November 10 (for Staff Training) & Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Remembrance Day).

Please also note the following Recreation Facility & Tourism Centre hours for November 10 & 11, 2025.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICE CLOSURES on Monday, November 10, 2025 & Tuesday, November 11, 2025

Administration & Public Service Buildings:

TRANSFER STATIONS & LANDFILLS INFORMATION:

• Saturday, November 8, 2025:
  • Grande Cache Landfill closed
• Monday, November 10 & Tuesday, November 11, 2025:
  • ALL Transfer Stations & Grande Cache Landfill closed. Greenview Regional Landfill will remain open.
  • Regular hours resume on Wednesday, November 12, 2025
• Monday, November 10, 2025
  • Greenview Regional Landfill open

Grande Cache Residential & Commercial pick up schedule:

• Monday, November 10: No commercial pick-up (moved to Wednesday, November 12)
• Tuesday, November 11: No regular residential & commercial waste collection (moved to Wednesday, November 12)

  • Facility Open: 6:00 am – 9:00 am (gym access until 8:45 am) & 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Facility & Arena Closed: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for Staff Training
  • Aquatics Centre: (Closed 9:00 am – 3:30 pm)
    • Waveless Swim, Hot Spots & One Lane: 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm
    • Lane Swim: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Arena Schedule:
    • Public Skating: 7:00 am – 8:00 pm

• Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Remembrance Day)
  • Facility & Fitness Centre Open: 12:00 – 8:00 pm
  • Public Swim: 1:00 – 7:00 pm
  • Arena:
    • 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Adult Shinny (15+)
    • 1:45 pm – 2:20 pm: Stick & Puck (ages 7-14)
    • 2:45 pm – 3:00 pm: Tonnie Skate
    • 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm: Youth Shinny (ages 11-15)
    • 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Child Shinny (ages 7-10)
    • 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm: Public Skating

Grande Cache Community Bus (no bus service on Tuesday, November 11, 2025):

There will be no Community Bus trips on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, but we have added a Grande Prairie trip on Friday, November 14, 2025. If you have any questions or want to book this trip, please contact the Grande Cache Recreation Centre at 780. 827. 2446.

  • Facility & Fitness Centre: 6:00 am – 9:00 am & 3:30 pm – 9:00 pm
  • Aquatics:
    • Lane and Leisure: 6:00 am – 8:00 am
    • Public Swim: 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm
    • Adult & Youth Swim (16+): 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

• Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Remembrance Day):
  • Facility & Fitness Centre: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Aquatics: Public Swim: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Grande Cache Tourism & Interpretive Centre Monday, November 10 & Tuesday, November 11, 2025

• Monday, November 10, 2025: Closed (staffing training)
• Tuesday, November 11, 2025: Open 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Regular hours resume Wednesday, November 12, 2025 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Greenview – Valleyview & Area Tourist Information Centre Monday, October 13, 2025:

• Washrooms are open 24/7. Tourism Centre closed for the season.
