On October 27, 2026, Council approved Bylaw 26-1034, amending Greenview’s 2026 Schedule of Fees under Bylaw 25-1009. The changes came into effect on October 27, 2026. The Schedule of Fees Bylaw establishes rates, fees and charges for municipal goods and services provided by Greenview.
The amendment includes the following five changes:
- NEW: GPS Unit Rental
GPS units are now available to rent for $20 per day or $35 per weekend. Click here to view the Agriculture Rental Equipment Catalogue.
- CHANGE: Home Support Program
The Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Home Support Program fee has changed from a maximum of $20 per hour to a maximum of $45 per hour. Maximum rates may be eligible for increased subsidies.
- NEW: Incoming Wire Transfer Fee
A new fee of $17 per incoming wire transfer has been added.
- CHANGE: Unpaid Accounts Penalty
A penalty of 1.5% per month shall be applied to unpaid accounts receivable. The monthly charge remains the same; only the wording has changed from “interest charge” to “penalty.”
- CHANGE: Sewer Lagoon Fee
The sewer lagoon fee for residential and verified non-profit users has been reduced from $14.00/m³ to $7.00/m³.
