Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (EPA) has launched a new online tool, the Regulatory Dialogue Portal, to enhance communication and responsiveness around regulatory approvals related to water and environmental protection.
This platform supports approvals under the Water Act and the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act (EPEA). It directly responds to Resolution 6-23, passed by Albertaโs Agricultural Service Boards, calling for more vigorous enforcement and better communication on water management concerns.

- Greater transparency and accountability
The new portal complements existing tools like the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS) by focusing on open dialogue and public feedback. Itโs available to all Albertans, including municipalities, landowners, and agricultural producers.
