MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF GREENVIEW NO.16 LAUNCHES CUSTOM MOBILE APP
The Municipal District of Greenview has worked with an Alberta-based Mobile App provider to create a customized Mobile App for residents and businesses. The new MD of Greenview Mobile App enables app users to receive important Push Notifications, access information at their fingertips, call departments directly, and access MD of Greenview services and resources from one easy to use Mobile App.
With the MD of Greenview Mobile App, users can also stay up-to-date with announcements and events, as well as view Public Notices, share on Social Media and more. The Push Notification System enables all app users to receive real-time updates from Greenview regarding Emergencies and essential updates. Users will also be able to report a problem or concern to Greenview Administration through an innovative feature built into the application, which will deliver the report directly to the department staff who need to be notified.
The Mobile App is built on a scalable platform that will enable future updates and additional features to be added as they become available. The purpose of the App is to simplify and increase the efficiency of communications between the MD of Greenview and the people who live or work within its jurisdiction, increasing time savings for both administration and residents alike.
“Continued improvements to vital communications for residents and stakeholders in our municipality is important to Greenview Council,” stated Reeve Dale Smith. “Greenview is pleased to provide this free custom mobile application and hope that this additional method of communication will assist residents and stakeholders to report concerns and issues easily as well as stay up to date with Greenview news and alerts.”
The MD of Greenview Mobile App is free to download on both Apple and Android devices and is available for direct download in the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
