The MD of Greenview will LIFT the Fire Ban for the DeBolt area in the Non-Forest Protection Area (see map link at https://mdgreenview.ab.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/DeBolt-Protection-Area.pdf effective Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 12 noon. The Fire Ban was put in place on Friday, November 10, 2023, due to poor air quality caused by the burning of brush piles.

Notice November 10, 2023: MD of Greenview #16 – FIRE BAN (DeBolt Area) – EFFECTIVE November 10, 2023, at 12:00 noon
A FIRE BAN will be in effect for the DeBolt area in the Non-Forest Protection area (White Zone) due to significant poor air quality conditions caused by the recent burning of brush piles in the DeBolt area.
The Temporary Fire Ban is in effect at 12:00 noon today, Friday, November 10, 2023.
The Temporary Fire Ban will be lifted as soon as the smoke clears the DeBolt area.
A Fire Ban prohibits all fires including the burning of brush piles.
