What is a Compliance Certificate?
The purpose of a Compliance Certificate is to ensure that buildings are located on your property within the established guidelines of the Land Use Bylaw.
Any development constructed after July 1, 1994 for which no Development Permit has been issued will be considered non-conforming and no compliance certificate will be issued until an approved Development Permit has been obtained.
What are the fees for a Compliance Certificate?
Compliance Certificates may be issued subject to the Schedule of Fees upon a written request to the Planning & Development Department.
What is a A Real Property Report?
A Real Property Report is a legal document which clearly illustrates the location of significant visible improvements relative to the property lines.
A current Real Property Report must be included with the Compliance Certificate request.
