Customer Service Representative – Tourism

Reporting to the Economic Development Manager, Customer Service Representatives are the first point of contact at the Grande Cache Tourism & Interpretive Centre. This role provides crucial support in presenting a strong and positive image of the MD of Greenview and the Grande Cache region.

Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, experience working with modern office equipment, knowledge of the local area, local businesses, local history and the ability to effectively communicate that knowledge to visitors of all ages verbally, in writing and electronically. To be successful in this role, candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, respectful, clear and effective when communicating verbally, in writing and electronically. The ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and statutory holidays is strongly desired.

Duties include: 

  • Greet visitors (tourists, Grande Cache residents, prospective residents, meeting room clients, etc.), answer the
    telephone and respond to email and Facebook inquiries with friendly courtesy while providing clear and accurate
    information.
  • Promote the community and surrounding area, local businesses, programs and recreational activities.
  • Maintain, order and restock information brochures and information resources around the facility.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Grande Cache Tourism & Interpretive Centre’s social media outlets

Home Support Worker, FCSS

Home Support Worker – FCSS

Reporting to the Home Support Coordinator the Home Support Worker’s primary focus is to deliver high quality, consistent home assistance for individuals and families that are experiencing a disruption to daily life as a result of one of the following: supplemental care for elders, pre or post-hospitalization, pre or post-natal home care, home management assistance, emotional stress or caregiver support. 

Candidates must have excellent verbal and communication skills, be understanding of local Indigenous culture and history, and be flexible in scheduling to accommodate the needs of their clients.  To be successful in this role, candidates must be self-motivated, physically capable of manual labour, and be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
